Best Moving and Transportation Inc. offers the standard $.60 per pound valuation on all long distance moves and $.30 per pound on all local moves to cover any loss or damages. Some of our customers may need more coverage than valuation can provide. If you have questions about valuation coverage, please call your CMC, Certified Moving Consultant for answers.

How to Select a Mover

Make sure your mover is licensed and insured. Check local organizations to determine if the movers have a good record of service. Once you have received your estimate for services, compare price and services offered. Ask to have your estimate explained in detail. Make sure you have a written copy of the estimate.

Moving Tips

We recommend that you start a moving file. Print this list out and check off things as they are accomplished. Keep your written estimate , this list and other moving documents together.
